Day +158: Molong, a little surprise

There’s a little place called Molong, which is between Dubbo and Orange. If you blink, you’ll miss it. But if you do, you’ll miss a great little photo opportunity (everybody seemed to stop here).

There’s a guy here who makes metal art:

The rest of the drive to the Blue Mountains was less exciting than this one place. We had dinner in Katoomba in a place called The Savoy. I have written a review on TripAdvisor, but let’s just say- don’t go there if you want an enjoyable meal.

FOCUS ON:

Security can be an issue when you travel with your gear. There is nothing worse than having your gear stolen, or damaged by leaving it in a boiling hot car. Never leave your gear in the car when you’re in an unfamiliar place. Ever. Not only could you lose thousands of dollars worth of equipment, but you may also lose those once-in-a-lifetime memories that were stored on the stolen memory card.

Until next time…
