Day +720: Barangaroo

Hi guys. It’s been awhile since I last posted. Since then, we’ve been to WPPI in Las Vegas, and learnt a whole lot about wedding and portrait photography (and by the way, I’m testing out a new font for this post). I’m also in the process of updating my website to make it more user-friendly (and look better too), so thank you for the visits!

Today, we went to Barangaroo (we being me, and my 2 ladies).

Never been there before. It’s a relatively new part of Sydney harbour, kinda sandwiched between Cockle Bay at Darling Harbour, and the Rocks. It pretty much is just a big stretch of harbours-side restaurants, with a little walkway by the water. As you walk further from the bustle of Cockle Bay, the place becomes more peaceful.

Along the walk, you get pretty decent views of both the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

There’s also this little place called the Cutaway at Barangaroo Reserve. They had this sound experience called Aurora Eora, which was quite relaxing (the lights in the featured image of this post is from there). We heard there was an actual play area for kids around here- but there isn’t. Barangaroo isn’t a full-day sort of thing. THere’s nothing really there to keep kids or adults entertained, apart from food.
